- Fire this director and hire someone with some social skill. Fire his bosses also, because the problem originates from them.

Terrible, immature management. Favoritism. Career development is a lip-service only. One can never get promoted, unless he/she is a favorite of the boss. The "director" runs the place as his own personal property and treats employees as chess figures. Socially inept personality.
