Suggestions for improvement
- Management could stop making decisions that affect other people or departments without getting their honest feedback. There are power "cliques" within the organization that need to be identified and held to true accountability instead of covering for each other. Workers should be able to report these issues without fear of reprisal. Better communication that includes active listening as well as acting on issues in a timely manner instead of passing the buck around would improve the morale and atmosphere.
What I like about the company
Consistent paychecks that are usually accurate with hours and pay. Perks are good such as using employee badge as a credit card within the hospital system for coffee bar, cafeteria and prescriptions. Matching retirement up to 6% is also a good benefit.
What I dislike about the company
Management frequently makes decisions without getting input from people that work in the area that changes will affect. Communication is often lacking or "lip-service" only. Additionally, the process to get equipment replaced when needed makes for long delays. Often feel "unheard" . This can foster feelings of frustration and disrespect.
