Everyone does what is in their box...but the boxes all do not fit together

Within groups team work is good ...between groups team work is missing because there is not feeling of a wider team
Freedom to work independently
Depends upon the situation. You can work independently but multiple people have to be involved to "sign off" basically approve that what you want to do goes forward.
Communication is fine from the very top and the lower levels ...non existent in middle management
VERY Eco centric. If they put as much focus on running the business we would be better off.

Suggestions for improvement
- The current drive is a single org. structure for all markets. Basically boxes. You do your box and hand it off to someone who does their box. This works for a consumer business where you are handling tens of thousands of similar requests. This does not work for multi-national business. You are building complex network services for a couple of hundred. This requires a different focus where speed to market and end to end responsibility is paramount.
What I like about the company
Challenging work. Can be on cutting edge. Financially secure.
What I dislike about the company
A thousand people can say no...but nobody has the power to say yes.
