Suggestions for improvement
- In my opinion it would be beneficial for employees to be given the freedom to believe and feel what they want without any pressure from employers to conform. Employees should feel free to try new and innovative things without fear of reprimand.
What I like about the company
Broken Arrow Public Schools supports it's employees and makes us feel like valuable assets. To know my work matters and that I matter makes me happy to work that much harder. My bosses remember small facts about us, greet us every morning, and make sure we know how to laugh and take the breaks we need. They make us each feel as though they truly care about us. Our other coworkers also care a lot about each other and we work hard to make things personal, productive, and positive.
What I dislike about the company
I disapprove of the way that my employer is bound and can't take our opinions and suggestions more often. But I respect that they want to, it is just not in their power. I also don't prefer to be micromanaged. I understand the need for accountability, however, I was hired to do a job and it would be even more empowering to be trusted to do the job even more than I already am as well as treated like a true professional. I also work with a team of mostly women and as such, there is a lot of bickering and some team building strategies and seminars/adventures would be beneficial.
