Unless your family (and they hire a lot of family and close family friends), you will not survive or thrive here. Worst company culture experience I have seen in a small company. They only care about the employees that are in the family tree, if you are not a "yes" man, move on.
Support from management
They talk a lot about support and helping, then never follow through. Training is almost non existent.
Depends on the individual. For the most part, their are great people who do their best to help, however, those people usually are not "yes men" or related so they don't last very long. Very high employee turnover rate.
Freedom to work independently
Not to bad in this dept, although if not a family member, expect some micro managing.
Worst communication from sales reps, office staff, and warehouse. Their customers have a better chance of getting product on time with better communication from Uline or another competitor than this place.
Attitude towards older colleagues
They love to talk trash about anyone who has left or been let go. This happens quite frequently due to high, very high, employee turnover rate.
Office / Work Environment
Horrible. Communication and finding the right employees is a struggle for this company.
Not to bad in this area, they are good about allowing emloyees to handle personal and family matters. Some employees abuse this privilege.
This company brags about how they have a higher turnover rate than the Navy Seals.
