It used to be a great place to work until a year or so they began to let go many long term employees that had given their entire career to this company. No loyalty to the employees after making the company what it is today.
Support from management
Unrealistic goals set by people who have little or no experience.
Not anymore, everyone is scared they will be the next to be let go.
Freedom to work independently
Information is slanted towards what the company want you to hear but, not always truthful.
It's a male dominated place.
Attitude towards older colleagues
In the last 1 to 2 years many older employees have be "let go".
Used to have several avenues for learning, not anymore.
Overall compensation for your work
Low pay compared to industry and vacation time was recently reduced.
There is always pressure to work more hours while pay is below industry standard.
Use to be a great place that you were proud to a part of. Not anymore.
With many being termed and the selling of several manufacturing facilities job security is a thing of the past.
Inclusive / Diverse
They say the right things but, just look around.
Suggestions for improvement
- Morale is at a all time low due to the firing of so many long term partners. Everyone is just waiting to see if they are next.
Quit putting someone over a department that they know nothing about.
What I like about the company
Since the numerous terminations, the poor acquisitions, and the selling of major departments there is not much to like but, there are still many good partners that remain but, they are not as dedicated as they once were because of how everyone is being treated.
What I dislike about the company
Many long term partners have been terminated in the last 2 years which was not the company culture until the new management came on board. Many of these partners worked many years and many hours to help the company grow though the years and then just kicked out the door. Show a tremendous lack of respect for the ones that helped make the company what it was.
