- BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL16.Nov 2015
This is not a place to really have a career. A lot of retired and veterans work here. It's hard to move up.
Overall compensation for your work
The pay isn't all that great to drive rental cars around for 8 + hours.
It doesn't really reflect reality.
Anyone will tell you that if you don't bump into anything then you're good. A lot of my ex co-workers didn't feel stable.
They have an elevator is you park in the parking deck but no ramps.
Accidents can happen at any time and at any place. Just have to be on your guard at all times!
Suggestions for improvement
- They need to stop with the favoritism, cover ups and treating people unfairly. Taking advantage of certain people and making them stay late just because they were able to a few times in the past; knowing that they have another job to go to either overnight or the next morning. Have respect of there other job so that they can get the rest they need to work there other job. Because for the most part this job was part time for a lot of people... just to make extra cash.
What I like about the company
I was able to drive various cars.
What I dislike about the company
Favoritism... And they fire a person if an accident wasn't a person fault. Or even if it's a small fender-bender. Some were able to get by w/ the bender buy using a spray to cover it up.
