What I like
No matter our age, role, appearance, or how long we’d worked there, everyone was taken seriously and treated with respect. You weren’t seen as a grunt with no future—fashion retail is seen as a legitimate career, as it should be, and basic health insurance and bonuses are offered for whole store performance. For retail, it’s one of the best places you can work.
What I dislike
Starting pay should be higher—there’s a lot of turnover there and I think higher starting pay would help immensely.
