Employees like

Employees are rewarded for excellent work. I have good pay and benefits. Telework is a major plus!
My team is very helpful and works well together. I am always able to go to my director if I have questions or need help. I am able to telework once a week and otherwise have a flexible schedule. Leadership is always encouraging employees to take advantage of training opportunities and to grow. I’m able to travel to some of the other sites a few times a year, which is a nice change from the day-to-day routine.
Management is always willing to help along with my team members. Very friendly and just a great place to work

Employees don't like

Some in management positions should be trained/retrained or be made to step down.
Management reaction to system failures. Upper management makes decisions when they really don’t know the work.
The way employees can/can’t move up within then pay ladder should be re-evaluated.
I have a long commute (1.5 hours each way) and would love the opportunity to move to the office closer to my home

Suggestions for improvement

This company should have better policies to deal with employees who don’t perform there work.
Fairness between office locations should be improved.
Allow the employees who perform daily functions to have more input in decisions.
Better food service company. Would be more likely to stay in the building to eat
Better lighting (more natural light as opposed to the fluorescent lighting) and standing desks would be nice to have
