Overall compensation for your work
Recent pay study brought our pay scale with 10% of surrounding counties, however that still means we are being paid 10% less
Office / Work Environment
Building is old, not wired for the electronics currently used today. Heating & Air is broken often & personal heaters trip breakers often
Have had 2 fire drills in 5 years. No plan in place for an active shooter incident.
Suggestions for improvement
- Socials and luncheons should be brought back. Yearly certificates should be given out again by the administrator, not made up by immediate supervisors. Just hearing "good job" occasionally would make the place better.
What I like about the company
We are able to help those less fortunate in our community. Occasionally we are able to see that we are helping.
What I dislike about the company
Our program administrator seems to be unaware of the morale of the employees in our building. Instead of 2 managers meetings per week, it may be beneficial for her to walk around for 1 hour per week, just to check on her employees. It may be beneficial to have a team put together to help do things to booste morale.
