Suggestions for improvement
- I would improve the quality and "pedigree" of the front desk staff and concierge ... Everything from more strict dress code to proper speech, language and decorum. I would also make a concerted effort to eradicate the sewage smell that wafts through the spa from Santana Row. I would change the spa music playlist more regularly (maybe monthly) and would create a much larger breakroom to accommodate the large staff
What I like about the company
I love being able to get a free massage and spa day monthly. The overall environment is lovely with pretty decor and soft music, no harsh flourescent lighting or loud music or constantly ringing phones. The holiday parties, sports outings and potlucks are fun and mellow and stress-free
What I dislike about the company
Changes occur quite often and communication about these changes is fairly weak (between mgmt and staff) and employees end up relying on a "he said/she said" sharing of information. The current mgmt team is working on this. Also, I'm not too crazy about how the company as a whole interfaces with guests.... Especially with complaints or problem guests.
