Immature atmosphere..Management contributed to gossip and disagreements among employees
Suggestions for improvement
- To make unannounced visits to the stores to get a true picture of the atmosphere. When the higher-ups are coming, everything would get cleaned and shined and more staff called in to give a better appearance. 90% of the employees are part-time so the company does not offer benefits. I am retired and was not depending on the wages and benefits of Burlington but felt bad for those that did. I sometimes only receive a tour for 2 or 3 days because of their budget. I encouraged the young people to go back to school and strive for better employment. It wasn't worth me staying any longer than I planned.
