Suggestions for improvement
- Develop a management system that recognizes the contributions of all employees. Pay people a decent wage and don't just give people food and coupons to compensate for a unbelievably stagnant amount of pay.
What I like about the company
They offer a generous amount of personal time off after 90 days and this grows every year.
What I dislike about the company
There is no way to stand out or get ahead here. The department is assessed as a group and raises come for tax increases or insurance increases, but not actual performance of the job. Terrible communication between management and employees. A very fraternal corporate culture reminiscent of a type of neo-feudalism. No actual reviews or production meetings. Truly a dead end job. A severe lack of modern efficiency and a lot of people in positions based purely on nepotism or favoritism not actual capability. In nearly ten years employees received two raises at 2%, both after minor tax and insurance cost increases.
