Career Development

No standard recurrent training, no training when promoted to management level you're just expected to start doing everything whether you know it's a job responsibility or not.

Overall compensation for your work

Lowest wages of competing companies. Health insurance costs almost what you make in two weeks and has an extremely high deductible with minimal benefits.

Work-Life Balance

Many companies that they hire for have blackout periods on time off that can last 4 months.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Pay normal wages instead of huge bonuses to executive level staff, value people and invest in their development. Set realistic expectations. Promote based on employee performance and contribution instead of hand picked acquaintances who are personable but have no experience and require others to do 60% of their job.

What I like about the company

The people who report to me. They are the only reason I continue to work here.

What I dislike about the company

It is a do as I say work enviorment. They preach an open door policy but that is far from the case. If you "talk" to someone about the negative things that are going on and offer suggestions for improvement, you get placed on a hit list of who will be laid off next.
