  • Having folks held accountable for how they treat one another Stopping the gossip/the whispering and folks thinking thier way is better than yours

Team work and benefits. Work schedule/pd leave/pd personal days

What I dislike about the company

Paying uioun dues/city fees to work in Huntington WV/having forty dollars weekly toward my breakfast and lunch used which I hardly eat

  • I would restructure school districts and change requirements for kindergarten. Parents need to be held accountable for their children’s success

I am not sharing anymore information so stop asking me questions. This survey is ridiculous and long.

Suggestions for improvement

  • More input allowed from the teachers who are actually out there with the children. More support for special education. Higher-ups need to pay attention to what is really happening in the classroom, not some perfect scenario that doesn’t include real people with real problems. Emphasis on learning and not grades.

What I like about the company

Watching kids learn and grow is absolutely amazing! Many of the teachers I worked with are among my best friends.

What I dislike about the company

Top-heavy administration with much higher pay. Tons of pressure on teachers to do everything, with constant addition of “new initiatives” to make things better. Little support and low pay. I didn’t use their insurance because my husband’s was so much better, but it was definitely a problem.

  • Slightly more flexible hours for those that have kids so we can get them off to school without relying on others to do so, better dress attire..you don't need to wear scrubs to cook, and lastly I think we should all be paid more based on our level of training

It's got great benefits, decent hours and paid days off

What I dislike about the company

I don't feel we make enough money for the type of work they expect out of my department I think we need to have more ways to move up and make more money for our familys.
