- Call Henry, Inc20.Jan 2016
The culture and atmosphere was nothing like what i expected. A lot of work going being moved around for a small firm but i expected a little more feedback from management.
Support from management
Supervisor was nothing like a mentor/adviser on the job training another engineer in a small engineering department.
Did not receive any kind of training or run through expected to do the actual work on site. rather some menial office tasks that a younger intern could do.
Office / Work Environment
History of Asbestos.
The Safety and Facility Managers are effective and efficient at their jobs in providing safety, tools, and procedures to events that may occur on the job site. I commend them.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to do a better job with finding the right candidates or providing the necessary training to bring some one on the job in a very quick work environment and also providing them with the necessary information needed to complete projects and tasks they really need done. This is their only Achilles Heel.
What I like about the company
Working on site was a good life experience especially for the government. You meet some inspiring clients you work with.
What I dislike about the company
Management was terrible to work for specifically in the engineering department. They could not point some of their workers in the right direction leaving them to pick up a lot of the work in order to get a major part of some project done which could leave unsatisfactory results for both the clients and the supervisors. Training was basically absent for newer projects that help benefit the company and only slowed down efficiency.
