Culture is good at CallTower; most people are pretty nerdy and accepted for what they like and included regardless of the topic.
Support from management
Open door open calendar policy across the board. Any employee can talk to their manager or even the CEO at any time.
Each team seems to interact well with each other. When servicing customers it crosses many departments.
Freedom to work independently
If you're getting your work done management stays out of your hair unless there is an outage.
Calltower does a good job with this. As with any company there could be more but there are alot of different tools that allow collaboration.
As with technology jobs in general there are more males than female employees in many departments but it matches the applicant pool.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Calltower is great at this. Support for the most part is pretty young but the rest of the company is diverse and inclusive to all ages.
We've promoted a ton of people over the last couple years especially into our higher support positions and a few engineering roles.

Calltower does annual compensation analysis specific to each employee every single year to make sure their employees are paid fairly.
Office / Work Environment
Laid back and everyone talks to everyone
Very laid back and flexible. Everyone is expected to get their job done but if it's getting done you have flexibility to leave early or take time off when necessary.
As with any company nothing is guaranteed but company is growing, positions are usually filled internally, turn over is very low. During our last acquisition we were able to keep the vast majority of employees from the acquired.
Buildings at riverpark are all Handicapped Accessible.
I'm a bit amazed there hasn't been accidents with the scooters people ride around on but besides that great. No injuries i've known about.
Depends on the job but mine is very challenging and always different.
