I like about the employer
It was a great place to get my start out of college. While the salary number wasn't high, the fact that room and board were provided meant that I made great headway on getting out of debt and starting my life. The CEO/ Camp Director is a great mentor. He is also a reasonable boss who provides the necessary tools for his employees to do what they need to do. I've yet to work with anyone so excellent at enabling me to work in my areas of strength and supporting me to develop my areas of weakness.
I dislike about the employer
Summer hours can be tough. Partly it is the job, and partly it may have been my poor ability to draw boundaries. While management is reasonable, the fact is that the summers are intense times and employees can expect to put in a lot of hours.
