Soup may be our middle name, but there’s much more to our company, as you will discover. We’re still Campbell, but we are changing in new and exciting ways.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Invest more in employees and their professional growth. Listen to production and their suggestions for improvement.

What I like about the company

Depending on specific job, there is a fair amount of schedule flexibility and ability to work independently. Workplace culture is decent, but lacks diversity (mostly because of the area of Ohio).

What I dislike about the company

Management is resistant to change or cooperating with headquarters and the desire for making operations more efficient. More emphasis should be placed on employee growth and development.

Suggestions for improvement

  • The temperature throughout the building is never consistent and I am constantly cold and will have to bundle up even on a warmer day. Other than that everything is great!

What I like about the company

The company is great to work for. Good pay and benefits, and great culture. I am able to work from home once a week which helps with the long commute. Good perks of being at the world headquarters too.

What I dislike about the company

There is actually nothing really that I would change about the company. I love everything about working here except for my commute - which isn't the company's fault!

Company Culture

A phony culture of progressiveness but... not really. Just under the surface it's pretty obvious that it's business as usual and anyone with a new or innovative idea doesn't last long.

Support from management

Are you kidding me? They're too busy treating themselves to conferences where they learn how to register for the next conference. VPs are put in charge of departments they have no experience with.

Teamwork

Abysmal. It's like the word doesn't exist anywhere but company brochures.

Internal Communication

Most people ignore you.

Gender Equality

The CEO's a woman and there are a lot of women in management, but that doesn't mean they're better managers, or course. Very few racial minorities in positions of authority, although a senior VP is an out lesbian.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Why do you think I'm not there anymore? They shove how wonderful the "young workforce" is, making it clear experience is not valued (because it costs more, of course).

Work-Life Balance

Long, long hours.

Inclusive / Diverse

There have been some strides but it's still pretty WASPy.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Stop being phony and start being real. Management shouldn't be so afraid of getting their hands dirty and start telling slackers to do their jobs and instigators to knock it off or get out.

What I like about the company

The courtyard.

What I dislike about the company

Just about everything.
