Suggestions for improvement
- Listening to employees opinions. Alot of the changes we were told to implement by higher ups didn't work because the higher ups didn't understand how things worked at a store level. They didn't understand why customers wouldn't like an idea and instead would put all the blame on employees. Also, have management actually take harrassment seriously. Victim blaming happens alot.
What I like about the company
I became a manager at my job rather quickly and it helped me come out of my shell. I was able to run a team effectively and learn about responsibility. I met alot of interesting people through other employees and customers. Working here helped develop a good work ethic and helped me learn to take pride in my work.
What I dislike about the company
Management does not care about employees. The work environment is very hostile and many people play favorites. I work in a restaurant and food and physical safety is alot of the time ignored or corners are cut for the sake of saving money.
