Suggestions for improvement

  • I would recommend a change in leadership, more hiring of individuals who are not directly related. I would also greatly recommend updated games and toys of a modern type for the children, and environment in which the actual employees were able to have a more direct effect on how to engage with the children in a manner that would truly benefit them in the most positive manner.

What I like about the company

I was able to engage in a manner that allowed me to help educate and to facilitate an environment of a positive nature for the children. Because not all of the children had a positive environment at home nor a positive environment at school, I was able to help provide that for them for a few hours each day.

What I dislike about the company

The negative attitudes of some of the employers, including the main supervisor, often risk creating a toxic environment that was detrimental to both employees and the children. Often times the social politics involved in working there though not directly harming to the children, hindered creating an even greater environment that would have created a working situation worth entering daily.
