Support from management
There is no direct management that is within miles of the complex. They know little to nothing about the situations you face. They micromanage and undermine everything you try to accomplish. In property management having authority within the complex is of the utmost importance and if that is undermined it makes the job a lot more difficult.
I was the only person there managing everything. I had 2 maintenance that were always stressed because we were understaffed and underpaid. We worked together as a team but the company itself we always felt like we were kept out of the loop.
Suggestions for improvement
- Less micromanagement and more communication. Stronger professional relationships and respect
