Support from Management
They care what you have to say and really do care and find the best option possible to help their patients.
Didn't matter what department, you worked in had to work independently.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Our directors were wonderful to work with and very professional.
I like about the employer
I liked how we were encouraged not to stay in the office all day and we were encouraged a lot to communicate with patients and residents. Also you get to learn a lot about different culture and diverse religious backgrounds. We had to think a lot on our feet quickly, and the nursing staff moved very quickly. Also it was rewarding able to spend time and trying to work with the residents in dementia. Personally, I really got a lot and felt more accomplished working with the patients in rehabilitation, it is harder to plan activities. However, it was rewarding and you can interact with patients who really need or want your help. Also the physical therapists and occupational therapists are very friendly and willing to work with you.
