Support from management
non trusting relationship between care first and assigned hospital
Freedom to work independently
No say. Work until work is done, thus the work from home status.
Our manager had an open door policy. We had monthly staff meetings.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Counseled for not completing assignments when not fully oriented and partner was on vacation first 2 weeks I was off orientation.
I wasn't aware of any further training other then orientation and if new daft ware was added or new process was implemented. No upward mobility training.

Office / Work Environment
No assigned work area while I was employed with the company.
Monday-Friday I worked from 0600-2200 most night to ensure that all charting was completed. Although it was telework, we were required to drive to the hospital for patient visits, check the charts, chart and discuss cases with case managers. Once done drive home, make discharge calls, document and upload every evening before the system shut down at 2200. Hospital hours 0730-1500.
No, constant complaining about work load, management, computer access at host facilities and work hours.
Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to listen and make appropriate changes adjustments with participating facilities. Show more employee appreciation.
What I like about the company
What I dislike about the company
Management doesn't understand challenges nurses experience at hospital facilities when denied access to patient charts for review.
