Management could have done a better job at doing more on job training instead of being in the office
I worked there for 9 months and other employees have worked for 7 yrs or longer and they have only hired one female in that time frame.
I was there for nine months and passed the tests to be Honda Certified in sales but that only did so much in helping you sell cars. There was not enough management over site to help you fill in the gaps. I would give them a D+ for this .
Overall compensation for your work
No salary offered for full time Sales people. It is a commission based job. No sales equals no income. If you sell eight or more cars in a month there is a bonus for you. Life and health insurance is offered and is taken out of your pay weekly. The payroll does go from Thursday to Wednesday of the following week. You do get paid on Friday of every week.
Office / Work Environment
They have desks and computers for about 9 sales people. Most computers are up to date but they have only one printer for 9 sales people and it needs upgrading. Could use more printers. Lighting is good and desks are fairly new.
You get one week paid vacation after being there 1 year. You work 10 hour days. Somewhat considerate of family obligations (dependent on situation).
I was there for 9 mos. and they let go of at least 5 to 6 service people and at least 5 sales people. I felt like there was no loyalty to employees. This was not due to organizational restructuring either
