Culture used to be good and folks loved doing company events but that's all been thrown out the window.
Support from management
Management is so horrible at Carousel it is not even funny at all. None of NOC Managers are in office and work remote but they think they know what their employees do for actual work. Please, it is such a joke.
They try and sell Teamwork attitude but if someone does something wrong, management will quickly point fingers.
Freedom to work independently
People who are trusted to work from home, for instance, usually take advantage of it and slack, but they're the ones who brown-nose so they get promotions.
All the owner does is talk about sales and numbers, he has no clue about anything else and certainly doesn't value his technical employees
Overall compensation for your work
They lead you to believe that you're not worth what you're being paid but in reality, other companies will pay you about 20% more than what Carousel pays. This is 100% true!
If you're not working 50+ hours a week you are considered a slacker.
Not any more, used to be but since they hired/implemented the worst management team ever, they are no longer trust-worthy.
Yeah right, NEXT QUESTION!
Suggestions for improvement
- Clean out garbage management and hire actual managers who know how to manage and not be a bunch of yes-men
What I like about the company
nothing at all anymore
What I dislike about the company
Let's see, two NOC Manager-role members can't spell at all and have absolutely no communication skills or college education. Their Boss is a spineless hee-haw with one of those high-pitched voices and always starts his emails with "I hope this email reaches you well..." Are you serious? "Reaches you well"????
