No technology for doing measurement or order processing.
Support from management
Difficult place to work. Disorganized management.
There is no team work. Not fault of employees.
Freedom to work independently
Poor communication. Toxic ownership.
No one is equal in this company for betterment and best practices. Only owner thinks she is better and has deep issues with her personal life.
Attitude towards older colleagues
They replaced long term employees with younger employees that had no skill set for the industry but would work for no benefits and hourly wage not congruent with the industry,
There is no development for the employee.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation is the lowest in the industry and there is not even healthcare benefits. They choose the highest cost (family ownership could afford) to force employees to the health market place.
Office / Work Environment
Working conditions were terrible.
No social skill set displayed by management.
No respect for employees needs such as any benefits. Vacations are a joke. They will try to take away any monies prorated per day if you are paid straight commissions.
Image? What image?
My experience was no accessibility to management.
Owner has issues and inherited the business she knows nothing about. Inherited greed.
Challenging beyond describing.
Inclusive / Diverse
No diverse or critical thinking practices. Rules that are controlling and management trusts no one including their family ownership.
Suggestions for improvement
- Close the business before it is too late.
What I like about the company
Nothing. Only the deceased owner had respect for his employees.
What I dislike about the company
There is nothing to like. Very toxic work environment.
