The company has high standards for employees & the customer is their #1 priority.
Support from management
Some hourly shift managers were not the best.
My crew did, we all had our own part of the team that night & we stuck to it. We worked with flow.
Freedom to work independently
I was because I was there for over a year & all of my bosses knew that I knew my job & what to do.
My manager was always straight forward with me & how he wants things done. Most of the HSM's were like that as well.
Overall compensation for your work
I didn't think so.
No recycling program, my biggest problem with the store was the waste of food.
My manager was very lenient with the work schedule. He would allow many employees be able to go to school, or have another job meanwhile having this job. 99% of the time he would allow you to have any day off that you'd request. Families are taken into consideration but just remember the store is open on Thanksgiving & Christmas Eve & you are not allowed to request off. You MUST work Thanksgiving & sometimes Christmas Eve.
If you were skilled enough, you would have to serve the guests, ring them up, clean up the dining room, take plates out, etc. at the same time. Expecially during dinner rush.
Inclusive / Diverse
A little bit.
What I like about the company
The staff was always fun
What I dislike about the company
The hard work for little pay, the lunch & dinner rushes, people were always picky about their food, uniform, etc.
