The last couple of years I was there, there appeared to be a cloud walking into the school that staff could feel made a depressing environment.
Support from management
The biggest problem in management is the Headmaster who has been allowed to make all decisions without anyone able to disagree with him He is a dictator.
The majority work well together without much support of management.
Very little communication until after decisions were made.
Employees that African American or prefer a certain sexual preference are treated much better.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Not really an age issue there but if a teacher, etc. did something that may have just been a mistake, their contract was not renewed, even if they were a very popular teacher with the parents.
Office / Work Environment
Conditions were good if you have the right supervisor.
Lot of discussions behind closed doors of employee treatment.
Everyone that I knew was always in fear of losing their job and looking for a different job.
I loved the job and most of the people. But management always said we were one big family. That wasn't the case.
Suggestions for improvement
- I think the climate will change once the Headmaster leaves.
What I like about the company
I really enjoyed working with some of my fellow employees.
What I dislike about the company
