Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2015
Department Higher-level medical-technical services
Suggestions for improvement
- DON'T hire an employee next time if you're going to have plans to close down within the next week.
I like about the employer
There were always snacks provided and most of the time there were drinks, the pay was high for a Veterinary Technician for my area..
I dislike about the employer
They hired me around October 2015 and offered a decent pay, I gladly accepted the position not knowing what I was getting into. After working about 1 week or so there I realized the severe attitude of the veterinarian Dr ( Shelton), towards myself and the other staff right in front of clients she would scream at us. Anyways, what it comes down to is that the owner gave us all a letter basically saying she was giving up on the place and I had only worked there for a little over 1 week! You HAD to of had the slightest idea before you hired me you were going to close. Also they were knowing that they were closing and weren't telling the clients ( basically lying to them).. Still scheduling spays and neuters.. I would be the honest person and tell people we were closing when they wanted to schedule... The bad part is they are now open again.. After me losing my job and a few others losing thier jobs.. I would never recommend this company.. They are constantly opening and closing. Look at the history! Not a reliable company and they used me just for their cat clinic..
