Company culture

The company culture is very clique based. Although the CEO tries to make it feel like 'we are all on the same boat, our diminished revenue in recent years resulted in turf wars among individual teams within the same department. It's not the best time to be working there.

Career Development

There is no room to grow.

Overall Compensation for your work

I was underpaid by industry standards.

Company culture

It doesn't matter how hard you work, how much time you put in - if you're not a favorite of upper management, it's not worth it.
There are many from HR to upper admin and managers who are not trustworthy. You will be told one thing and then the complete opposite happens. The system is not fair. I can't repeat enough how if you are not a favorite of these upper admin and managerial positions, you mean absolutely nothing.

Support from Management

There is no leadership support. HR is only working for the upper admin and managers. HR turnover is quite high (every 1.5-2 years). If you are not a Ph.D. or on the admin team, your questions and concerns mean absolutely nothing.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Having a 4 building campus makes it difficult for people (HR, upper level admin etc) to know what goes on in each on a day-to-day basis. The high turnover rate in the HR department is also not a good sign. The HR department while being an administrator of the company should be objective and look at all issues from any employee regardless of education level (HS diploma, B.S., M.S. or Ph.D.). While higher education is a plus and is incredibly important, the majority of the "grunt" work falls to the M.S. and lower level education levels and will be used against you if you are not a Ph.D. or one of the "favored" employees of said Ph.D.s

What I like about the company
