Suggestions for improvement
- There are so many employees, specifically ones in the lower positions, who are smart and talented and have great ideas that could potentially benefit the business, and they should be taken seriously. Listen to them.
What I like about the company
Other than the higher up management, the lower level managers are some of the best people I have ever met. Many of my co-workers are genuinely smart and interesting people so it makes work fun. The one incentive is depending on the department you are in, some managers are lenient when it comes to working with you on a schedule.
What I dislike about the company
There are a few areas that I disapprove of, but some of the main points are their upper management, how HR deals with situations, and the compensation. Though there may be some good people in the upper management of the company as a whole, the person in charge of the department that I work in is completely incompetent and borderline criminal. Not a single employee respects him and there have been many complaints to HR regarding his rude and often controversial remarks and actions. The reason this is such a problem is because nothing is done about him. Also, management sometimes tends to treat work as a popularity contest vs. placing employees where their skills could be best utilized. Last, it is a paying job with benefits, but employees are often manipulated into doing work of multiple positions without any compensation for this.
