We have recycling bins all over the office. But management won't digitize everything. Even thoight they are fully capable of making the change.
Suggestions for improvement
- As I mentioned before, some people will get "written up" for being a few minutes late. There are some people in the office that are chronically late. We are supposed to work on a 5 strike basis. And management are not following it. And people are starting to notice
What I like about the company
I got called into the vice presidents office about 6 months into me working there. She just wanted to check up and see what I was doing how I felt about the job and what not. She stressed to me that she doesn't ever want me to feel like "aw man I don't want to go to work for ______". I thought she was being nice or whatever. But she reiterates that frequently. Always asking if she can make work less of a bummer. Work is work. But she's willing to meet you in the middle. All of the management. And even the president of the company are super sweet approachable and considerate. And I think that speaks volumes for the company. You can have all the free food or company outings all you want. If the people that run the place never show there face or don't want to hear concerns from their employees then the company isnt going to be up to standards. I genuinely don't mind my job.
What I dislike about the company
Sometimes concequenses are not the same for everyone and it's visible. Everybody knows it. There's no consistency with being written up for an offense of any sort.
