Suggestions for improvement
- Finally admit that Stripes and Buc'ees are beating CEFCO in to the ground. Sell the company to someone, ANYONE, who knows that they are doing.
I like about the employer
I have a reference point for "it can't get any worse than this!"
I dislike about the employer
CEFCO pays *the* lowest wages in the Central Texas c-store industry. Anything barely above minium wage, even after years of service, in unheard of. Raises, if any at all, are late and insultingly low.
Employees are expected to do the work that was formerly assigned to 2+ employees.
Upper-level management does not care about employees. All are treated as disposable. High turnover and a lack of concern for anyone other than numero uno are a company culture.
Home Office in Temple doesn't have a clue what it is doing. Receiving confusing and downright contradictory instructions within the same week is normal. There are people at the executive level of this company that only have a high school diploma and it shows.
