When I was in an accident everyone from my co-workers to my manager to Human Resources was supportive. I was guided through the paperwork that needed to be done. I was also made to understand that I should take as much time as I need and would be welcomed back as soon as I was able.
The training process for the CNA positions are just right. Your supervisor/educator on your unit will always make sure you’re set up for success before you’re on your own. I feel valued and appreciated in my current role and I couldn’t be happier
The clinic I work for is filled with respectful and nice people that collaborate well together. During the pandemic’s first month or two we banded together to create a new working normal.
The employees on off shifts work very well together and provide the support and training that management fails to give in the initial training.

Employees don't like

Money is spent on best begins with me training that does no good if all departments are understaffed and overworked. Training needs to be much better, more time and a more detailed schedule for it would help.
Many of the employees have talked about other jobs or shifts they pick up to earn extra money. Those working in patient care should not need this to maintain a normal lifestyle.
I feel the company portrays itself as a caring entity but their business actions certainly tell a different tale
Our compensation is not as good as other area hospitals within 60 miles. I have lost several high quality coworkers due to this.

Suggestions for improvement

Equality.. work on it. It’s tough to be energized to go to work when you know you’ll get treated with not the up most respect
Department structure, using PTO for holidays that. Any benefits are greatly outweighed by shady business
More transparency and caring for the people you employee half as much as you want people to think you do.
Before large choices are made, it is important to have knowledge of the environments you’re altering. It is crucial to not only visually see what goes on, but to also have discussions with the people working the floors in the day to day aspects.
