Support from management
They only support you if it is to their benefit
Some other employees in same level work together well
Freedom to work independently
They state they want you to work independently however do not support your work or ideas.
Employees in upper management only communicate what they think is important
They appear to support male employees more than any other gender.
Attitude towards older colleagues
If you make a high salary from being there very long or close to retirement they discard you with very little notice.
Career development is only offered to who the upper management chooses. You have to use your earned days off or vacation time to attend a conference or other outside education.
Overall compensation for your work
I and others put in a lot of overtime without being paid for it and when management discards you they say you did not ask them if you could stay later although they knew you did.
Office / Work Environment
The office employees only support you if they are allowed to by upper management..everything is a secret.
As noted in above questions..Males are preferable and only friendly if upper management says so.
Whether your immediate family has a crisis upper management chooses whether it is important enough for you to have the right to be off work or not.
They set a false company image to the community because they are the only alcohol/drug facility in the community.
As stated before if you begin to make too much money or close to retirement they discard you although they make up an excuse it was something else.
Some buildings are accessible but some are very difficult.
They follow guidelines however maintenance department employees have a lot to be desired.
Normally it would not be challenging however with upper managements demands they make it very challenging.
Inclusive / Diverse
When I worked their they only had two non-Caucasian employees.
Suggestions for improvement
- The board at that facility needs to have more input and invite employees from ever section to participate in board meetings to be able to put in their insight,
What I like about the company
The clients that come their so you can attempt to help them through their struggles.
What I dislike about the company
Upper managements total control.
