Suggestions for improvement
- be more thorough at planning time before implementing projects or plan on more expenses and unhappy customers. Give me good equipment with which to do my job. failure to plan on your part is not an emergency on mine. Follow the policies that are already in the books before making new and different ones and give me the ability to follow those policies realistically.
What I like about the company
allowed to work independently without micro management. great coworkers. nice pats on the back. treated with respect as a professional
What I dislike about the company
leadership, mostly C level, commitment by example. They preach but do not do. unrealistic expectations with staffing. unnecessarily adding to stress by setting benchmarks that are not realistic. ''we throw out 30% anyway'' but you still have to have everyone done within 30 minutes. We have 2 people and 2 machines and each customer takes 15 min and 10 walk in at the same time. This is happening with greater frequency as advertising and awareness of our services increase and yet management provides not extra help or machines or relief from ''benchmarks''. management should find a way to help themselves or get us more help or stop preaching these benchmarks that my bonus is based upon. all this serves to do is to decrease customer satisfaction, which also affects my bonus, but not theirs.
