Support from management
There is no leadership support, and the employees are not involved in any of the decisions.
There is no real teamwork.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Long-serving and senior workers are let go since the new HR person took over.
There is no career advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
There are few that work at the zoo that are given the opportunity at fair wages and benefits. Most employees are part-time hires.
Office / Work Environment
The working conditions flirt with antique.
No worries...part-time is all that is offered so there are no benefits.
Employees used to speak fondly of this zoo, and we all cared about our animals. That is not the case now.
If your job is to tattle on the rest of the employees, you definitely have job security.
This would not be a good place to work if you were disabled.
The zoo makes it appear as if they are in compliance until after the inspections.
Management doesn't care if you accomplish anything just as long as you follow all of their ridiculous rules.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diverse opinions are supported if they are the same as the CEO's opinions.
