Support from management
Hard to get a hold of leaders. Then some not all put you down when asking a question. You are not allow to seek out help from fellow employees.
Not allow to interact with other employees but have to wait for supervisor to do it for you.
Freedom to work independently
Some are busier than others. It seems that the work is evenly distributed.
It is terrible... when being told what is happening with the company the higher up just talk in circles and you are not sure what is happening. The grapevine has the most correct information.
Attitude towards older colleagues
lots and lots of older colleagues. Don't really see the older ones teaching the younger ones.
There is education reimbursement.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is on time. The benefits are very good like 401k and health. As for wages it is very low. Pay raises are not common for individuals.
Office / Work Environment
Computers are pretty up to date. Like any large open space when someone is sick it like a dominos affect.
It is ok! The office is in a fairly safe suburbs. Nothing really to worry about.
It is not a bad place to work at. The people is what makes the company.
It depends on what department you work in.
It can be challenging in a good way. Most of the time is getting all your information is what is challenging. You know the information is there but where is located is what is hard.
Inclusive / Diverse
Again the communication is lacking so you don't know what the goals to be.
Suggestions for improvement
- Let the team environment back into company. It is feels like I don't have a say in the project that I am working on.
What I like about the company
I enjoyed the work I did there. Most of all I loved the people that I worked with at Centria.
What I dislike about the company
I did not like not being able to ask other people (like PM and engineers) involved with my project questions. I always have to go to a supervisor.
The following benefits were offered to me
- Are you a Current or Former Employee?Former job since 2015
