Suggestions for improvement
- Do not change policies frequently. Do not take away income from your employees. Keep in mind that their the boots on the ground. They are the ones that make you look good. If you treat them poorly, you’ll lose great people who are professionals/experts in the field.
What I like about the company
Applied behavioral analysis is a very particular field and is done in an extremely particular way. Our supervisor had an allotment of $5 a month for reinforcers to encourage us to keep up the good work.
What I dislike about the company
Constant policy changes that affect the ability of therapists to even get basic supplies when working with kiddos. Mileage was also taken away, so therapists that traveled a long distance to do their work had to quit. With ABA therapy you cannot change the therapist that kiddo has, so it’s adversely affecting clients. Most put over 500 miles in per week-and there’s no compensation for that anymore. We’re not even offered company cars. Since we provide therapy to children with behavioral problems, many have wound up in the emergency room as well.
