Suggestions for improvement
- Have 2 departments, a c.s., and a sales. That way c.s. doesn't have to try and "upsell" an irate customer after they "solve" the customers billing issues. (From previous deceptive sales tactics!!!)
I like about the employer
Decent hourly pay.
I dislike about the employer
This is a customer service and SALES position with a required quota. Unfortunately, in order to meet quota, one had to be deceitful. All those who made quota, hence bonuses, awards, etc., were not honest with the customer.
The supervisors were aware of the deceptive sales practices, but did nothing (actually encouraged) to reign them in.
It was all about the numbers! My suggestion, NEVER deal with Centurylink as a consumer, and NEVER...EVER...work there!!!!
