No loyalty to associated. Culture is work is so you should have in your life
Support from management
Half the mangers have little real life experience
Some established teams from Siemens aquisition are strong but slowly they are filling in with kids out if school that don't work well with older associates
Freedom to work independently
No longer allow work from home
Lots of rahrah meetings but allot of it is bull.
Attitude towards older colleagues
It's all about the recent grads
Only if you are a recent grad
Overall compensation for your work
Good starting pay out of college but even if you work in Pennsylvania, pay scale is based on KC cost of living. Many Malvern employees got pay cuts
They preach balance but there is none. You must log at least 44 hours per week and most cases you work even more.
Suggestions for improvement
- Allow work from home. Many have done this for years when we were Siemens. If we are expected to work with outsourced employees in India and Romania why not people who are a 20-30 miles away?
What I like about the company
If you are in KC there is a nice gym.
