CGI was founded in 1976 in Québec City by Serge Godin and André Imbeau. At the time, “CGI” stood for “Conseillers en gestion et informatique,” which translates to “Consultants in management and information technology.” As we grew into a global company, we became known as simply CGI.

  • Share purchase plan: CGI will match your contribution dollar for dollar, up to the determined maximum. In addition, an additional amount corresponding to a set percentage of your salary can be invested in CGI shares.
  • Profit participation plan: You'll participate in the rewards that come from CGI's growth; this plan distributes a portion of our profits based on the achievement of CGI’s financial objectives and taking into consideration individual performance.

Health and wellness program:

  • Benefits leave a lot to be desired. They haven't raised the wages for 6 years. And it's nearly impossible to find parking.
