This companies culture was unlike anywhere in the US. Everyone worked together and pulled off the unbelievable when challenged. Now since Olin and Global has had us, it's US vs Them mentality. Management should NOT get along with their workers. Bark commands and try to get things done. It is the lasting legacy under the current upper
Management will leave.... It's not where we are going .... It's where we came
From and more imprtantly what we have lost. The majority in upper management wouldn't know an employee unless they had their work shirt on with their name tag. And do nothing to try to even improve that standing. How far the company has fallen.
Support from Management
From being there 30 + years you used to have the old school foreman who knew the job just as well as the employee if not better. They would be able to help troubleshoot and lead by example and be a "master" of the process .... More importantly the people. Now the current way of running the business is hire those in management that have little to no knowledge of the business and zero leadership ability. There are a few "good" guys left but they are so beat up by the management since Olin has come in they stay out of the limelight.
