It wasnt always positive
Support from management
management was there when you needed them, but never took time to help unless there was a problem that had already occurred.
teamwork was never a high standard
Freedom to work independently
micro managing was huge
communication was not big
everyone was treated equally.
Attitude towards older colleagues
they were treated fairly for the work that they were able to perform
there wasnt much growth within that industry
Overall compensation for your work
It all was based on tips, which you earned for yoruself.
Office / Work Environment
it was clean, and comftorable with upcoming technology
They had bins for glass but that was the extent of recycling
hard to balance your life with the hours that are required to be worked
I was proud at the time of being employeed there
It was never stable. You could loose your job at any minute for something that may not have been your fualt.
It was a handicap accessible friendly restaurant
they always made sure it was safe for the employees
it was pretty easy, common sense is all that was needed to complete tasks
Inclusive / Diverse
there was always a diverse staff
Suggestions for improvement
- I would keep an eye on the management and how they treat the employees as a whole and individually. There was some favoritism and that isnt fair to people who work there and do the same job as everyone else.
What I like about the company
I did have great connections with my guest. I was able to build relationships with many people and advance my career in a different path due to who I met
What I dislike about the company
I was not a fan of the management. They could have stood behind the employees a little more and created a better moral for the whole team as one together.
