Suggestions for improvement
- Firstly, Chipotle needs to work on their training. The training time for employees is too small of a window to produce excellent results; there are no certified trainers, so people get trained incorrectly all the time; most new employees are left on their own after the first day of training and then get reprimanded for performing incorrectly; and the training books get neglected when it comes to training, so no one is ever validated for completing their training. Start from the ground up.
What I like about the company
Pretty much nothing. When I started, I was told that this was a company that cared about its employees, but my entire experience there was management telling employees to get their act together or they'll find someone else to do it. They never tried to find the source of the issue and address it. They'd rather cut people loose if they didn't fit perfectly into the box they made for them.
