Support from management
Everyone is given a work load that is way too much to handle. There's not enough staff. The manager leaves a lot, leaving them more short staffed. He doesn't care. His wife gets to do her billing at home, two days each month. She always chooses the days that give her the longest weekend.
They try to do what they can, but no one likes the manager or his wife. Family should not work together, especially when your wife/assistant manager is a nasty person who goes out of her way to get the people she doesn't like in trouble. She'll nag him day in and day out about someone. He has to live with her, so he caters. She makes up problems that don't exist.
The manager often changes things, but doesn't communicate it to everyone.
Overall compensation for your work
I will give them this.
Office / Work Environment
There is ONE bathroom for 3 businesses. The downstairs office has no windows, has been flooded so there's mold, it's musty, and stuffy.
Absolutely not. Whatsoever.
Considering the fact that they sell to people who need/have crutches, wheelchairs, etc., there should be automatic doors.
Inclusive / Diverse
The manager has to think something is his idea in order for it to be accepted.
Suggestions for improvement
- No more interpersonal relationships (family, couples, etc.) Actually discipline people who deserve it. Don't let certain people get away with things that others can't. Management is poor!
What I like about the company
Helping others, compensation, paid time off, vacation time
What I dislike about the company
Almost everything. You can literally see the light leave the employees' eyes as soon as 3 months of employment. Your spirit will be crushed, and you will be forced to do things that are sketchy and completely wrong.
