Company Culture

Very busy store with employees that are helpful to the customers.

Challenging Work

Very Busy store. Need to learn the PLU's of all produce. They provide a list for you to look on but that takes time when you haven't quite learned what a certain produce item is.

Suggestions for improvement

  • When scheduling....try to make each employee's schedule the same each week with start time being the same each day or close to it. Also allow for employee's to have 2 days off at a time. Possibly a rotating schedule would work better giving an employee Monday and Tuesday off one week then the following week would be Thursday and Friday etc, etc. Because Wednesday's are the busiest day so keep as many employees working that day as possible.

What I like about the company

Very friendly hard working employees. You train as you're working. Not difficult work but very busy store. Customers ask where items are so you need to be able to tell them this by just researching for yourself. Other employees will help you if you don't know.

What I dislike about the company

If you work 7 hours you only get one twenty minute break. 4 to 6 hours you get one fifteen minute. No one likes to work a 7 hour shift. They feel the company is taking advantage of them.
