The company does not care of their employees and you're just a number to them. Employee moral is very very low because of poor management. To get promoted you have to be in their click, be a drunk, or have an affair on your spouse. Labor laws don't apply on federal grounds and they can fire you for any reason without cause.
No they are not treated equally. I was there for 14 years and they are treated as second class citizens. For a woman to get promoted at the casino she has to put out to her boss and keep her mouth shut. If you speak up their they will get rid of you.
Attitude towards older colleagues
They do but they're weeding out all of the older employees to cut costs. They want young employees because it takes about 5 years to make decent money there.
Overall compensation for your work
They pay you pretty decent at the casino but medical benefits with Cigna are really bad.
The casino is at will employer and they can fire you or get rid of you for whatever reason they want.
If you have a disability at the casino you are looked as damaged goods or no use to them and they will get rid of you.
Training is on the job training.
Suggestions for improvement
- I would recommend to the tribe to get rid of the Executive Director of Gaming, the Director of Security, the General Manager, and all of their pawns. They're all in cohoots with one another.
What I like about the company
I spent 14 years as an investigator for them and I got hurt on the job arresting someone and they deemed me damaged goods and labeled me physically unable to do my job and fired me. They have ruined the careers and fired a lot of good employees in the past for no reason. Upper management is horrible and I would recommend not working for them.
