The new leadership seems to be struggling.
Support from management
This varies greatly from manager to manager
Freedom to work independently
This varies greatly depending on which manager you work for
They currently seem to be promoting women into management positions.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older employees seem to often be tossed out from project managers to drafters.
Most training will be done on your own time. Process engineers receive a lot of training but not so much with other disciplines.
Work-life balance varies according to discipline. Plant Designers have the worst deal.
Job security seems to be a high concern. They often over hire just to later lay people off
Inclusive / Diverse
Somewhat diverse but no AAs in management positions.
What I like about the company
Overall good culture and friendly people
What I dislike about the company
Seem like a lot of promotion according to the buddy system with some unqualified people being promoted to management positions.
Seems like a lot of older people get laid off before retirement.
